QUICK, CREAMY GARLIC & LEMON PRAWN TAGLIATELLE 🦐
INGREDIENTS-
150g Tesco garlic & lemon ready to eat prawns🦐
100g Tesco protein fromage frais🇫🇷
1-2 Tagliatelle nests🍝 (depends on your carbohydrate allowance - 100g dry weight used here which was roughly 2 tagliatelle nests)
1 x Half spring or white onion🧅 (spring onion used here)
1 x Garlic clove🧄
4 x Cherry tomatoes🍅
1/2 x 1 Fish stock cube🐟
1/4 Lemon🍋
Dried or chopped fresh dill or parsley for garnish🌱 (dried dill used here)
METHOD-
Add 1-2 tagliatelle nests to boiling water & let it cook on a low heat while doing all other steps, just occasionally stir if needed.
Chop in half 4 cherry tomatoes then dice half a spring onion & 1 garlic clove into small pieces.
Then pan fry all the halved cherry tomatoes, diced garlic clove & diced spring onion using 1 cal spray olive oil or small drizzle of olive oil on a low heat until slightly golden/soft.
Have 1 half a fish stock cube in 125ml hot water ready to add to the pan.
Add 150g of the ready to eat garlic & lemon prawns to the pan & also the 125ml hot water with half stock cube to let simmer on a low heat for about 2-3 mins while you drain the tagliatelle after checking it’s ready.
Lastly turn the heat off the pan to add the drained pasta, 100g protein fromage frais & 1/4 squeezed lemon to mix all up.
Sprinkle some dill on top & enjoy!
